Service and Website Changes

Some exciting changes have taken place at Tony Schwartz Bodywork and I want to give all of you some basic information about what is actually changing and what it means.

Background:

About five years ago I made a decision to slowly move my practice into a different direction one that best fit with the majority of what my clients came for. It did not mean that I wanted to get rid of certain services it just means I wanted to focus and promote the practice differently. Over time I worked on continuing education as well as purchasing equipment and supplies to make the full transition possible. At this time I have decided to completely move forward with that ultimate goal.

Service Changes:

I am now offering a 90 minute Intensive MAT sessions. These sessions are unlike massage base sessions and that the client will stay and gym style clothing and will be actively working with me to release and correct and balances in the body that are causing pain. This is the true nature of the MAT process, There is a slightly increase charge for that 90 minute session simply because it is a very active session that requires more of my skill and physical labor to conduct. This is on par with other therapists using the same techniques.

As the trend towards some virtual sessions has come in to popularity (Covid 19 just sped up that process) I have also begun the process of offering virtual MAT sessions (this is similar to the idea of correct of exercise). The idea is that clients who are specifically goal oriented and have had prior sessions with me using MAT only sessions can do corrective exercise therapy through video conferencing to help keep them on track.

Website Changes:

In order to facilitate better website indexing and other marketing mechanisms the website has been rearranged a little bit. The same headers will be available to navigate through the website but the service header will be looking a little bit different. To make the website a little bit clearer I have installed page links to those services in four categories. Each one is designed to help people find the service they're looking for much faster. Inside each page link you'll find more detailed information to help introduce people to each therapy.

Another major change will be the Book A Session header I would encourage everyone to look at that page more carefully in order to make sure that you schedule the session you want. You'll also see some new services listed as well. Another important change to each service is the prompting to hold a credit card number on file in order to book every appointment. This is done to reduce the number of service categories people will see when booking a session on the page. A full deposit for new clients will no longer be required as it has been in the past. Please note that if you like to pay for your sessions in cash or to put services on account for future use you are still welcome to do so once you arrive at your session. You will also have the ability to pay for your session in full before your service begins online. The cancellation policy and booking policy will remain the same this has proved to become increasingly popular overtime and I have no plans on changing it now or in the future.

Final Thoughts:

I want to take a moment if you ever down this far to say thank you for your continued support during this very difficult year of 2020. Through some advance planning on my part and your continued support on your part I've been able to survive and continue to move forward. The challenges between the pandemic and the events in the city of Minneapolis have all stretched us to a breaking point. Please know that I am doing everything I can to be available and be affordable for everyone. After some very difficult nights and days I've made the decision to keep my practice in its current location in hopes that the conditions in the city of Minneapolis will improve. I would not continue to do so unless I believed that the situation will improve and that I am committed to your safety while you're in the building with me.
